About Us
Our Mission
To reach out and serve so that all may come to know the love of God
and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ
Our mission statement reflects the attitude prevalent in the
congregation. It drives many of the congregation's programs and ensures
that our role in the community is one that offers our neighbors the
means of extending Christian concern to those near and far. We consider
our activities as various aspects of ministry to ourselves and others.
For example, social ministry ensures we support those in need, musical
ministry means we share our joy with others through heart and voice, and
family ministry means we offer events for children and foster
intergenerational togetherness.
Who We Are
We are a growing congregation in Hamilton Township. We
worship in the Lutheran tradition and promote ecumenical relations with
those of other traditions. Over the years we have worked collaboratively
with other denominations in our area. Many of our church family have
come to us from other religious backgrounds
| Participation and Leadership
Our leadership is as diverse as the membership
because we facilitate everyone’s participation. All members are
invited to contribute their various talents to our church
family. Some help distribute Communion, some read lessons, some
lead Sunday school or adult Bible study, some organize relief
efforts, and some organize refreshments or maintain property. |
Everyone has something to offer, and we have unlimited
opportunities for you to offer the gifts of your time and talents |
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the
same spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there
are varieties of activities, but the same God who activates all of them in
everyone.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
